La documentazione inedita sulle violenze in Tibet
Il presidente del Parlamento Tibetano in esilio Karma Chopel, in visita oggi al Parlamento europeo su invito del gruppo ALDE e dei deputati europei radicali Marco Pannella e Marco Cappato, ha reso pubblica la documentazione delle violenze subite dai manifestanti tibetani da parte delle autorità cinesi, presentando un dossier fotografico al Presidente della Commissione esteri SARYUSZ-WOLSKI, Jacek.

Il Partito Radicale Nonviolento, Nessuno tocchi Caino e Radicali Italiani, congiuntamente alla Comunità tibetana in Italia, all'associazione "Donne tibetane", all'associazione "Italia-Tibet" e all'Intergruppo parlamentare per il Tibet hanno manifestato, oggi 16 marzo 2008 a Roma in Largo Equador davanti all'Ambasciata cinese, per sostenere il popolo tibetano e il Dalai Lama sui gravi fatti che accadono a Lasha capitale del Tibet occupato dove, la dura repressione cinese, ha causato fino a ieri la morte di almeno 100 persone. On the occasion of the International Day of Nonviolence declared by the UN on the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi
the Nonviolent Radical Party demonstrate ( in Brussels "Place de la Monnaie") in support of the struggle of the monks in Burma and for a UN moratorium against death penalty
From 20 to 22 July a delegatıon of the Nonvıolent Radıcal Party, transnatıonal and transparty composed by Maurızıo Turco, Member of the Italıan Parlıament (Radıcals) and Former Member of the European Parlıament and Marco Perduca, Member of the General Councıl of the Transnatıonal Radıcal Party has vısıted the Turkısh Republıc of Northern Cyprus at the ınvıatıon of the local authorıtıes. Throughout the vısıt they met wıth the Presıdent of the Republıc, the Prıme Mınıster, the Mınıster of Foreıgn Affaırs and members of all polıtcal groups. At the end of theır mıssıon, Mr. Turco and Mr. Perduca, ın a ceremony at the Mınıstry of Foreıgn Affaırs, have made a formal request to become cıtızens of the TRNC to the Deputy Prıme Mınıster Turgay Avcı. The Mınıster of Foreıgn Affaırs has preannounced a vısıt to Italy durıng whıch he wıll hand over the Passports.
Death Penalty: the decision by the European Uniont to table a resolution against the death penalty in September, at the opening of the next UN General Assembly, represents a first important success of our nonviolent struggle. We therefore suspend our hunger strike but not our campaign and mobilization to support the adoption of a resolution for the worldwide Moratorium of the death penalty by the UN General Assembly which, as of today, has gathered the support of 53 Nobel Prizes, more than 500 member of Parliament, personalities such as...

On Saturday, June 9, 2007, around 350 Montagnard refugees currently living in the United States, gathered at the Methodist Church in Greensboro, North Carolina, for a day of hunger strike to support the campaign promoted by the Transnational Radical Party and Hands off Cain, for a Universal Moratorium of the Death Penalty by the General Assembly of the United Nations. Among them were Kok Ksor, President of the Montagnard Foundation and Matteo Mecacci, UN Representative of the Transnational Radical Party. |
