RUSSIA: "U.S.A., DON'T KILL!". MANIFESTATION IN FRONT OF THE UNITED STATES' EMBASSY IN MOSCOW


(Moscow, May 20, 1992) - Ten Radical members demonstrated today at 21:00 Moscow time in front of the United States' embassy in Russian protesting against capital punishment of Roger Coleman, who have to be executed at the next day, and against death penalty in U.S.A.

Because of absence of the embassy's personal at such time, the Radical members' letter addressed to U.S. president Mr Bush was delivered earlier by fax. During the telephone conversation between Radical activist Nikolaj Khramov and Obrey Karlsson, attache for human rights, which had place two hours before the demonstration, Mr Karlsson assured that Radical appeal will be delivered to Washington.

The Radical manifestation near the embassy continued about 40 minutes and was recorded on video by officers of the embassy.
