UNPO Conference: "Peace, Stability & Security in East-Asia" - The Question of China & Taiwan

On 25 November 2005, UNPO in cooperation with the Taipei Representative Office and the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy, with the patronage of the City of The Hague, will host an international Conference in The Hague, the Netherlands.
The theme of the Conference is “Peace, Stability & Security in East Asia: The Question of China-Taiwan”, and will tackle pertinent issues that relate to human rights and democracy, including recent development on the Chinese Anti-Secession Law and the EU Arms Embargo. The conference represents a unique opportunity to hear experts in the field debate the highly topical issue that is Taiwan, and will take place at a time when the international community is ever-more occupied with China, and its internal and foreign relations.

The Conference promises to be a highly stimulating and enriching event, providing expertise and in-depth knowledge to further understanding of the issues at debate.
