UN COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS: PRESENTED IN GENEVA EVIDENCES FOR THE INDICTEMENT OF THE YUGOSLAV PRESIDENT MILOSEVIC FOR CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY. MILOSEVIC DOES HAVE THE DIRECT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE HORRENDOUS MASSACRES IN KOSOVO


Geneva-Rome, March 31st 1999 - In the UN Building in Geneva, where the Commission on Human Rights is sitting, the Transnational Radical Party asks for the immediate indictement of Slobodan Milosevic for having the main responsibilities for crimes against humanity commetted in Kosovo.
Evidences prooving crimes commetted, and findings of chains of command having ordered the massacres are in the Report prepared by "No Peace Without Justice", that has been presented today to the press and to the delegates of States who are taking part to the 55th Session of the UN Commission.
The Report underlines once again the full competence, the full jurisdiction of the International Tribunal on Crimes Commetted in former Yugoslavia for massacres commetted in Kosovo, and gives clear prooves regarding the direct responsibility of Milosevic in planninc the criminal campaign that has been managed during the last years and still currently.
The Report has been delivered to the General Prosecutor and to the President of the ad hoc Tribunal on former Yugoslavia, and it has been presented today by the Secretary of the Transnational Radical Party Olivier Dupuis, together with Snjezana Biga-Friganovic, Serbian and Member of the Croatian Parliament; with the representatives of Kosovo; with Niccolo' Figa-Talamanca, coordinator of the group of experts having elaborated the evidences and prepared the Report.
