Tibet, Mecacci on 5th World Parlamentarian Convention on Tibet: stronger intenational support comes to the Tibetan people
Tweet
Hon. Matteo Mecacci (Radicali-PD), President of the Parliamentary Inter-group for Tibet:
Two intense days of discussion and debate among tens of Italian and foreign MPs, along with the mandate to organize an international parlamentarians network, laid the basis for a political nonviolent initiative, aimed to preserve the truth about the Tibetan cause by involving the international institutions.
I believe that the Convention, followed tomorrow by the General Council of the Nonviolent Radical Party Transnational and Transparty, will start a new beginning for politics and public opinion in support of the Tibetan people. Those who passionately took part in the Convention, the radicals and I guarantee our commitment to it.
