NOVEMBER 14, 2001, NIKULINSKY INTERMUNICIPAL COURT WILL EXAMINE THE CASE ON THE COMPLAINT AGAINST WRONGFUL DECISION OF RAMENKI DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION

On August 5, 2001, during the visit of Kim Chen Ir to Russia, in front of the building of the embassy of the KPDR, Moscow militia, under the order of Ramenki district administration, dispersed a peaceful demonstration for observance of human rights and establishment of democracy in Northern Korea.

On August 13, 2001, the organizers of the action, Sergey Vorontsov, Alyona Asayeva and Andrey Rodionov, having considered the prohibition to be illegal, made a complaint in Nikulinsky intermunicipal court against the wrongful decision of Ramenki district administration.

On November 14, 2001, at 15.00, Nikulinsky intermunicipal court will examine the case on the complaint against the wrongful decision of Ramenki district administration.

It is not the first prohibition and arbitrariness of regional administrations violating the rights of citizens guaranteed by the article 31 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and "Time regulations about the procedure of notification of Moscow executive authorities about realization of rallies, street processions, demonstrations and picketing in streets, squares and other open public places of city" which Russian radicals faced.

On July 13, 2001, special forces of militia, under the order of Presnensky district administration, dispersed a demonstration of the Radical party against realization of Olympic games 2008 in Peking.

On August 4 and 7, 2001, Basmanny district administration forbade actions of the Radical party against the Chechen war.

Considering the actions of regional administrations to be wrongful, the organizers of the actions appealed against illegal orders in court.

Let's remind that according to the "Time regulations", the realization of actions in the city of Moscow has a notifying character and can not be forbidden.
