TRANSNATIONAL RADICAL PARTY
Initiative in support of the women of Afghanistan

Dear friends,

Starting from my deep belief that the respect of human rights represents the basis and the focal point of the real development of democracy and that obviously human rights are also the rights of women, I express my sincere support to the initiative for the inclusion of women in the provisional government of Afghanistan.

I consider this a small compensation to the tortures and humiliations that women have suffered during the time of the Taliban regime but indubitably a right start on the path leading to at least a small part of the equality and basic human rights within the civil society of Afghanistan. The realization of these rights and specially the participation of women in the government opens a possibility to the civil, social, human, political and legal development of this suffering country as well as the whole region, giving us the hope to succeed in our common goal which is the stability and justice of the global world order.
