MANIFISTATION FOR CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTIONAt the 23-d of June near the main headquaters of the Ministry of Defence a manifistation for the right of conscientious objection took place. It was organized by the Committee for creation of youth solidarity party "Echo" and by Moscow hippy, though any political activity is absolutally unusual for this group of young people. This action gathered over 150 people. The Radical Party was invited by organizers to take part in it. Several Radicals (Anton Belov, Serghej Krichevskij, Aleksej Kushnarev, Irina Podlesova, Alexander Pronozin, Alexander Tenjanov, Svetlana Tenjanova) spread radical materials and callected signatures under the petition for alternative civil service (about 100 signatures were callected). Alexander Pronozin made a speach about situation with conscientious objection in the USSR and about tasks of those striving for the right of objection.
After a week, at the 30-d of june will be continuation of the manifistation with more participants and greater attraction of mass-media.
