EP/SOUTH EAST ASIA
Tweet
Olivier Dupuis, MEP on the Lista Bonino, has requested Pat Cox to urge Harmut Nassauer (CDU) to have the decency to resign from his post of Delegation President for the EP's relations with South East Asia. Mr Dupuis is particularly critical of his colleague for not having taken a position on religious persecution in Vietnam and Laos and the numerous assassinations of political figures that have taken place in Cambodia. He also notes that Doris Pack (CDU), in a similar role, had shown the courage that meant that today she was listened to and respected in all the capital cities of the Balkans, as well as Daniel Cohn-Bendit, who had done the same as President of the EP/Turkey Delegation.
