In another crackdown on civil liberties in Egypt, Egyptian Authorities have today tried to stall printing of the first issue of El Ghad newspaper issued by El Ghad Party whose head dr. Ayman Noor is now in detention. Authorities claim that El Ghad sent a letter requesting changing Editor in Chief of the paper, Ibrahim Eisa. El Ghad leadership denies these fake allegations, and confirms that Ibrahim Eisa is Editor in Chief by consensus of El Ghad General Assembly held november 5 2004. This shows how littler authorities can tolerate free speech and opposition and confirms the political nature of accusations directed to dr Ayman Noor last week:
