Common language for the human species: 2015 is the year for global action

The Nonviolent Radical Party presented two statements, one oral and one written, entitled “Objective zero for sustainable development: a common language for the human species” to theHigh Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development.

The HLPF 2015, centered on the goals to be defined for the post-2015 development agenda, will be held between June 26 and July 8 at the UN in New York and will be followed by the Annual Ministerial Review on July 9 and 10, with intergovernmental negotiations continuing until August 31. A final summit will be held at the UN to adopt the post-2015 programme from 25 to 27 September 2015, with an opening statement by Pope Francis to the UN General Assembly.

It is now urgent to inform other Organizations to ask for their support and/or comments, as well as the Representations of the various Member States in the hope of obtaining their support for the request made by the NRPTT.
