(Mink, March 23, 1993) - Group of Radical militants and members of Belorussian Human Rights League have organized today in front of Parliament a manifestation for the abolishing of death penalty. This manifestation was timed for the extraordinary session of parliament convened especially for debating of the new Belorussian criminal code. In the demonstration participated Andrej Romashevskij, Alexej Galich, Svetlana Ryzhkovskaja and other Radical activists. Also the collection of signatures under petition against death penalty addressed to the Chairman of Belorussian parliament Mr. Shushkevich was organized during the manifestation.
