Dearest friends and and fellow members of the Nonviolent Radical Party, Transnational and Transparty,

Pursuant to what decided on 20 February 2011 at our 39th Congress, we would like to inform you that a second Session, presumably a conclusively one, of our Congress will take place (the city is yet to be decided and will be communicated promptly) from 8 to 11 December of this year.

We hope that with this notice you will be able not only to free your agenda for those days but also to promote this important event among all those that you believe may be interested in participating. In fact, as you know, should they decide to enrol in the Radical Party, they could take part as full-fledged participants “buying” their membership card there and then – which will entrust them with speaking and electoral rights, both active and passive, for the Congress.

We would appreciate if you could swiftly let us know if you will be able to participate. While we will try and do our best to inform you as soon as possible where the Congress will take place, we will also try to envision new and experimental forms of online participation.

We would like to reflect, more than we have done in the past, on the absolutely new, and so far, unique characteristic of our Party: becoming a member of the NRPTT is a natural right of all those that choose to do so. One does not “ask” to become a member, one is simply required to buy the membership card and thus becomes a member. Nobody can “concede” or “deny” it for any reason. We do not have a “committee of arbitrators” that vets memberships or punishes individual behaviours.

Our statutory obligations, in synthesis, consist in the commitment to live the condition of being a member in full freedom of action and conscientious choices. Never, over the last 55 years of our existence, has it been denied the membership to someone nor the exercise of the rights it includes. Never has anybody expelled or sanctioned for any reason.
